Northern California

I moved to the Sacramento area in the summer of 2022. This area of California has a fairly long growing season (~4600 GDDs). The weather is dry and can get hot in the summer, unlike many of the coastal regions of California. California has the fig wasp (fig pollinator), which enables growers to enjoy caprified (pollinated) figs.
