Napkin Project in the Works!
Actually by “in the works” I just mean I have the fabric and the idea in my head. I have been getting some requests by friends, so in the next few posts I’ll share some of those plans.
First of all, I’m going to try using some Mexican woven fabric — my first time working with this kind of fabric — to make some cool napkins for my friend Deb.
Here are the fabrics, all of which I ordered from an Etsy shop called SamYol2000:
I’m a little nervous about working with this new fabric. I’m thinking I’ll sew a cotton back to each fabric before I hem them into napkins. The plan today is to lay out each bit of fabric and see if there is enough for the amount of napkins Deb wants.
