The hubby recently sent me this link to 10 Annoying Habits of a Geeky Spouse. He seemed to be implying that I was a geeky spouse. Moi? OK, so I’ve admitted to some geeky tendencies, but I still don’t think I’m quite as geeky as the subjects of this article. Am I?

Am I a nerd? Tonight I said to Brian that an episode of South Park made me want to go read some Steinbeck. He said he thought we had some Steinbeck in the attic. I said, “Oh yeah, we definitely have a lot of Steinbeck; I went through a big American Lit phase in college.” He responded, “I’ll bet you did,” in a funny tone. I said, “What does that mean?” He said, “The rest of us were getting drunk and you were going through an American Lit phase.”
So maybe he thinks I’m a bit nerdy. Really, though, I’m more of a geek. That’s how I tested last time I took the nerd/geek/dork test. I have a bit of nerdiness but much more geekiness. Not much dorkiness except for how accident-prone I tend to be.
And does it make me a nerd or a geek or a dork if this post makes me think of this video?
